Day 01 : Tangier - Chefchaouen (1h 30min driving)

Today our driver will meet you at the port in Tangier and transfer you to Chefchaouen via a beautiful road along the Rif Mountains with a panoramic view of a dam. When you arrive in Chefchaouen, you will walk through its famous square (Outta Hamame) to reach the hotel in which you will spend your first night.

Option: you can do two two-hour walk near the water sprint where the women of Chefchaouene do their laundry and continue your walk on a path uphill to reach a mosque, and then you will enjoy a panoramic view of Chefchaouen in a marvelous landscape.

Day 02: Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Meknes (4h driving)

Your destination today will be the imperial city of Meknes. You will cross the Rif Mountains along the way to the city of Ouazzane on a scenic road full of vegetation especially Olive trees to reach Volubilis, an old archeological site from the Roman era and classified as a world cultural heritage by UNESCO.

Option: you can hire a local guide for a 45-minute visit for more explanation of the site.
Afterward, you can have a short visit to the holy city of Moulay Idriss, and continue to arrive in Meknes where you will spend your night.

Day 03: Meknes - Fes (1h driving)

After enjoying breakfast in your Riad/hotel you will meet our driver and the local guide from Meknes to discover the historical monuments of this beautiful city and its immense ramparts to visit the Bab Mansour gate, the Moulay Idriss mausoleum, and the Hri Swani… in the afternoon you will drive to reach the city of Fes where you’ll spend a night in a Riad/hotel.

Day 04: Fes (Sightseeing Travel)

Around 10 am, the local guide from Fes will take you on a walk to visit the monuments of the spiritual capital of Morocco (Fes) like the Bab Boujloud Gate, the Madrassa Bouananya “ Coranic School” the University of Alqarrwiine, and a visit of the Tanneries… to name but a few.

Late in the afternoon our driver will drive you to the Merinids Tombs with a panoramic view of the old medina of Fes, and visit the potteries of Fes (Overnight in Riad/Hotel).

Day 05: Fes - Merzouga (7h driving)

7 am our driver will pick you up from your riad and start your long day traversing the beautiful cities of the Middle Atlas Mountains like Imouzzer especially Ifrane “a Swiss-style city” not far from a Ski Resort called Michlifen, where people can ski during December and January. After that, you will have a short stop in the cedar forest of Azrou maybe to see some Berber apes.

After enjoying the beauty of the Middle Atlas Mountains, it is time to discover the foot of the Oriental High Atlas Mountains near the city of Midelt, and continue to Errachidia “named earlier Ksar Souk” along the Ziz valley to Erfoud a good place to see some fossils, which will travel you back to very old eras like the Cambrian, Jurassic, and others…

In the late afternoon, you will reach the amazing dunes of Erg Chebbi where you will meet your camel leaders and experience a 1h30min camel ride along the dunes to reach the deep desert camp, and you will enjoy the sunset in the dunes.

Night in the deep desert camp with some music around a fire to enjoy the beauty of the sky in the desert.

Day 06: Exploring Erg Chebbi

Today is a day to explore the area of Erg Chebbi, our driver will take you to Khamlya “the village of the slaves” where you will listen to some Gnaoua Music, thereafter, you continue your activities off-road along the dunes to reach the Hammada and enjoy a tea in the desert with nomads.

Option: you can see a seasonal lake in which there are some flamingos.

Day 07 : Merzouga - Tamtatoucht (4h driving)

Your destination will be the village of Tamtatouchte, during the day you will see some beautiful villages along the way especially Amlagou with its cornfields, and apple trees. And Ait Hani, before you reach a quiet village named Tamtatouchte where the Berber tribe of Ait Atta settled many years ago.

Day 08: Tamtatoucht - Skoura (3h30min driving)

You will start today with one of the highlights of Morocco which is the Todra Gorges with some dazzling landscapes on a huge limestone rock where fans of rock climbing practice their favorite sport. Afterward, you drive via Tinghir to Kelaat Mgouna, which is known in Morocco as the Rose Vally “option of a 1h walk along the valley of the roses” before you arrive at your destination which is Skoura palm grove.

Day 09: Skoura - Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah (2h driving)

Around 10 am you start your day in Ouarzazate where you can do many activities like a short walk near the Almansour Addahbi dam, a visit to the Kasbah of Taourirte, and also the museum and studio cinema. After enjoying the Hollywood of Morocco, it is time to drive to Tamdakht in the area of Ait Benhaddou where you will spend the night.

Day 10: Ait Ben Haddou - Marrakech (4h driving)

In the morning our driver will drive you near the Kasbah (fortified village) of Ait Benhaddou and you will walk easily across the Ounila Valley to reach the Kasbah which has been classified by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage since 1987, you will walk in its tiny street and continue uphill to reach the top of the Kasbah where there is a collective granary, the panoramic view gives you a great sensation and wonderful pictures. After this site, you will drive along the Ounila valley with its magical villages and fields to arrive in Telouet, where the Lord of the Atlas pasha Thami Elglaoui built his own Kasbah which you will visit with some fascinating decorations inside.

In the afternoon you will drive to Marrakech via the pass of Tichka which is situated at 2260m of altitude.
